Upgrading from HST 1.0.x to SmartSense 1.1.0 with Ambari
To upgrade from HST 1.0.x to SmartSense 1.1.0, please do the following:
On every node in the cluster, execute the following four commands to remove the HST 1.0.x software and all data and configuration associated with it:
# rpm -e hst # rm -rf /usr/hdp/share/hst # rm -rf /etc/hst # rm -rf /var/log/hst
Once, the previous version of HST has been removed, follow the installation guidelines for Installing SmartSense with Ambari.
