9. Starting HDP Services

Start HDP Services:
1. On the Master Nodes start the local services as follows:
```
%HADOOP_NODE%\start_local_hdp_services.cmd
```
  Wait for the Master Node services to start up before continuing.
2. On any Master Node, start all slave node services as follows:
```
%HADOOP_NODE%\start_remote_hdp_services.cmd 
```
3. On the Knox Gateway:
```
%HADOOP_NODE%\start_local_hdp_services.cmd
```
Smoke test your installation using the instructions provided in the Validate the Install section.
